Pot roast with red wine and wild mushrooms; Alice Waters' slow-cooked broccoli; Hannah sweet potato.
Greens, white bean, and sausage soup recipe based off a kale soup recipe.
Mesclun and mizuna with a walnut oil, shallot, and cherry balsamic vinegar dressing.
Asian pear, mango, satsuma mandarin, and dried pluot with tangerine zest and cardamom.
This is a modified Zone bento (we're trying out tweaking the Zone slightly to include a bit less protein, but still using most of the same ethos of very few refined carbohydrates, lots of fruits and veggies, etc.) (And the same for dinner.)
Pot Roast
Rough chopped Celery, Carrots, whole garlic cloves, and quartered onions. Shoulder roast seasoned with Worcestershire sauce, sea salt, coarse pepper, and Emeril's Essence.
Couple tablespoons of small pearl Tapioca, a Couple Bay leaves, a couple sprigs of Rosemary, and water just cover the bottom of the roast.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
